A rifle that shoots explosive rounds, rounds that have a chip in them that take instructions from the rifle. The soldier using the rifle looks through the scope, which incorporates a laser range finder, and then tells the bullet how far to fly before it explodes. The bullet counts it’s own revolutions to measure distance. Amazing.

I’m a vet – technically. But I don’t like to compare what was a quick and in many ways enjoyable time in my life to the sacrifices made by those who have served and serve now in active combat to protect our liberty. Happy Veterans day – be thankful for all those who’ve given so much to us.
